Dam I miss the "Poll" feature - so here's a question:

You may define "Christian" as you see fit, the question is this - will Mitt Romney be accepted as a Christian by the "Christian Right"? My guess is they will not and that many of them, feeling uncomfortable with his duplicity on the question of abortion rights, will simply stay home from the polls in 2012 if he's at the top of the ticket. What do you think? Don't think of it so much as a political question as one of how ridged do you see the churches in supporting those they see as their own.

I think it would be about 5%. Remember this is the Lockstep Party and most will be convinced by Fox & Rush to get out and vote for Romney, if only to displace the SCARY MUSLIM KENYAN WITH THE MILITANT CHRISTIAN PREACHER, Obama.

But 5% in certain states will make a huge difference in Obama's favor. So I hope it is Mitt.

Dumb, isn't it? Obama is a bonafide Christian and that's what they say they want. But he is a Democrat so that cancels out Jesus, and Mitt is a Repub but also a Mormon, and that's not good enough for them either. But they would vote for Sarah freaking Palin if given the choice. Excuse me while I explode my head.

I have long thought it would be Newt, and who knows, it just might be. But Mitt is the better choice, particularly if the unthinkable happens and he wins. Its just like Obama is the lessor of two evils, well, if it has to land on the Republican side then I say Mitt is the lessor of a handful of evils.
