Elsie and Irving joined us for dinner every year on Christmas Eve. There was always a ton of food, and it varied from year to year, but we always had a fancy ham from Royal Market in Hollywood.

Every year, they walked in the door and Irving headed straight for the food table to see what was there. He said the same thing when he saw the ham - "Oh my, what a lovely brisket!"
