(1,769 posts)Cbd oil, I used for awhile for chronic pain and it helped for a long time. I think available for animals now, no thc. Worth a try maybe. Raised with dogs, we used to hide aspirin in liversausage for the arthritis one of our dogs suffered from.

(22,456 posts)so she'll have a perfect protein...raw, you don't have to worry about cholesterol. She also gets an arthritis/pain supplement. She has kidney failure, so among the medicines for that is potassium, without which muscles can't function. Her potassium supplement is RenaPlus from my vet. Human potassium is so salty, I worry about it nauseating her. I give her 1/4 tsp. daily. She also gets a human taurine, B- complex and milk whistle (liver) capsule. Actually I mix all the supplements with the yolks, add a tsp of water and use a 10-cc syringe to get it into her. My other dogs are so piggy, they'd eat the lot mixed into their food...I've done it!
