Sweet Dog Offers Moral Support To His Favorite Toy During Wash Time

This is Habs.

He's an adorable dog who knows what he likes.



And what he likes is his teddy bear.



The large plush toy had originally belonged to Habs' owner, Jacqueline Estey, but was claimed by the pup not long after he joined her family three years ago. Since then, Habs and his favorite plaything are pretty much never apart.

Recently, however, something happened to threaten the joined-at-the-hip thing he and his bear had going. The toy badly needed a washing — but throughout the bear's soapy ordeal, dear Habs never left his side.



"I have never seen him do that for anything in the wash, other than his bear," Estey said. "It was hilarious when I realized he was sitting there for the whole entire cycle and wasn’t moving for anything!"

Fortunately, it wasn't long before all was set right, with Habs and his teddy bear being reunited. But the scary experience did seem to linger in the dog's subconscious.
