Inn the basement with a tornado warning going on In Springfield MO

Crazy weather this year, I was awakened 10 minutes ago with tornado siren going off. Wind sounded scary and got to the basement ASAP.. Radio talking about damage in town.

I'm not surprised. We had some odd weather earlier in the week, not dangerous, just a big fast drop in temperature and a small bit of ice Sunday. As I understand it, there was a blizzard going on in KC while there were tornado warnings near St Louis.

Lost power, but missed the tornados. There was a peel of thunder that was so bad, the entire house shook!

I did that last week on a local Historic House Tour. We had to take all the visitors to the basement of the home/museum that we had open. Thankfully nothing came to pass and that I had been working on getting the basement cleaned out these last few months.
