I was depressed by the first Gulf War. It was refreshing to hear her views on it. It cheered me up.

It was just her alone on stage with some synthesizers , but she was still superb.

the stage...

I was around Cleveland when Pere Ubu and Trent Reznor was playing down in the dives by the river.

I naturally went for all music connected to this kind of stuff, it wasn't what I liked to play when I was in my band but it was good to see what was pushing the envelope at that time.

She came through a few years ago but I was in the hospital so I missed her show.

Curiously, I had invited my future wife to go with me but she begged out and so I took a girl from the next office over from where I worked. She didn't get it. My wife would have. That was my last date with anyone but my wife...

One of the most interesting, thought-provoking and entertaining artists I have ever encountered. I was just listening to "Big Science" this weekend. She's a treasure.
