3. China takes so much pride in their pandas.. I have seen them at 3 US zoos...

...the Pandas are bred and give birth in the US but the babies are the property of China..as are the parents. The enclosures are absolutely gorgeous...spacious and revered. Im sure the babies will be shared with the world when the time comes and they will be treated like rock stars.

7. I saw them during one of my trips to Chengdu,

and the ARE indeed in a very large well landscaped enclosure.....

There are even red pandas...

8. I suspect that caretaker has been with that panda for a long time to build up that much

trust. you can see it in their every move. It takes a long ti,e to build it up, but once there, it sticks.
