although I have watched HUNDREDS of different series. I would imagine the manga is 1000% better because of no filler.

I enjoyed it. I cared about the characters and even with the filler, it was a good story. Naruto is another thing altogether....I never finished it...I just lost interest.
We are on hiatus with One Piece right now. We watched the 1st 500 or so episodes in a row, then took a short break...then watched it again until the start of the Big Mama arc....now we are watching other stuff for awhile.
