Already fed a bottle to the Grandson
I was up at 0230 I couldn’t sleep so I rolled into the hospital. Showed my license to security guard he called maternity and I headed up. And held our Grandson and fed him a bottle and got a tiny burp. And changed young mister diaper . The nurses were cool the one nurse knew me from Friday night. Tiny little hands so beautiful and innocent. He was ready for chow hey I’m ready let’s go people I cannot do this myself. What the hey I was recently in a nice warm womb I’m trying to figure it out. What has happened to my former living arrangement. My wife is still asleep she is exhausted, the new mother our youngest daughter was sleeping as I checked in on her before I left.
My wife makes me smile she was wound for sound. After we got the call Friday night let’s go. So I’m heading to the shower and she storms in what your showering. I’ll make it fast I replied I got a unbelievable from her. So I get out of shower and she is just getting dressed. I had to ask why the gym clothes Because It’s comfortable ok just asking. So we head out get in her car and I look down at fuel gauge. And it’s a hybrid gauge is telling me we have 67 miles worth fuel left we’re good hospital is only 12 miles. Now she is on her phone calling family and friends. So it’s blue tooth and contacts show up on computer in car. Now it popped into my head just for instant to mention once again it’s not good to let a vehicle get low on fuel. But I let it pass I have learned to pick my battles time and place.
So then my phone lights up it’s my brother calling me. Because my wife called him and he can’t get her because she is calling everybody else. My wife says don’t answer that your driving ok Mrs driver education I think in humor. So then she says deer I said I see Bambi on the side of the road headlights do work and you know I just got new glasses.
So we get to the hospital on elevator I hit third floor button. Maternity is second floor I heard about it from my wife ,so we got to the second floor after we visited third floor via the elevator honest mistake. I’m getting a complex like a private in army infantry dammit I cannot do anything correct. And we hooked up with our daughter and son in law. And fourteen hours later young mister arrived. Life is good still floating on the clouds.

Absolutely nothing better than a new baby. Sweetness abounds. Hugs all around! 
When I went into labor with our first child my husband had practically no gas in his tank. We had to stop for gas on the way to the hospital. Thirteen hours later...#1 son arrived.
