only to fall so low. I thought John Edwards was too good to be true; a good-looking, charismatic, wealthy, up-from-poverty staunch progressive and devoted family man. Turns out, he was too good to be true. What a rotter he turned out to be.
My heart still aches when I think of poor Elizabeth...
