Need some podcast suggestions

I am caught up on my fave 3:
Small Town Murder

Crime in Sports

Timesuck

I like reality and history with off color and even dark humor.

Suggest one and I will give it a go.

8. I certainly will

I meant no offense to Aussies. I was in high school in the mid to late 80s and everyone was doing these horrible Australian accents.
'Hoiy mite!" but with a southern drawl.
It was glorious in its awfulness!

Back in the day when ICU was the big chat platform I had a female Aussie friend. She was complaining about Australian guys. I said "But aren't they all like Paul Hogan? "
"That's the problem " she replied.

Then she sent me a jar of vegemite. I knew it was over.

9. The British History Podcast

https://www.thebritishhistorypodcast.com/

I've been addicted for going on five years

The British History Podcast is a chronological telling of the story of Britain. I started in the Ice Age, and I've been steadily moving forward ever since. The focus of this podcast is upon the human drama that is played out in history. Rather than providing a dry recount of dates and names, I am doing my best to provide a three dimensional image of what these people, places, and events were like. The people I'm speaking about were real flesh and blood individuals with dreams, fears, and flaws. And where the information is available, I intend to highlight those aspects for you. You can learn more about my perspective in my interview with Podster Magazine.

Recently the podcast has been featured on iTunes, was a Finalist for Best Educational Podcast by The Podcast Awards, was recommended by the Portland Mercury, Medievalists.net, and The National Trust for Scotland USA. It's also been recommended for fans of Serial, recommended by Parade Magazine and recommended and used as an example by a co-author of Playing With The Past.

My Nanna also recommends the podcast, though she's not entirely sure what a podcast is.

11. Not that genre but...

Check Earwolf out, they produce a bunch. I particularly enjoy How Did This Get Made? It is commentary about bad movies that is funny as heck even if you have not seen the movie they are discussing. How Stuff Works also produces a myriad of different ones. The Cracked Podcast is also interesting. My all time favorite has been Seincast. Each one is about a different episode of the show. The hosts just finished the complete series. I used to be a radio junkie when I was a kid before every AM station turned into right wing radio 24/7. Podcasts are the best!

Peace
