4. Squirrel Ninja Warrior! I begged my husband to do this in our backyard...

after our challenges with the bird feeders and seeing what squirrels were capable of, I thought it would be cool to build them an obstacle course.

Obviously, we don't have time to do this.

5. I know that these guys (squirrels) look cute, but in the urban areas of the cities, ...

these guys are flying rats, nothing less. You can't shoot them (too dangerous w/ all of the close neighbors), they are destructive beyond belief, and you can't put out poison or the like, or you'll accidently poison cats, dogs, or other critters. We do have some re-introduced hawks, but the sheer number of critters running loose in the urban areas / cities is simply overwhelming.

That being said, thanks for putting up this cute and clearly engaging video. Someone clearly (besides the squirrel of course) put in a lot of time!!

6. OMG, that is incredibly adorable, ingenious, funny and well done!

Loved when he got on the sled he actually used his front paws to make it go faster.

Thanks for posting.

7. They can be destructive, but they're just so precious to watch I just adore them.

That obstacle course would have had to be constructed over time, one obstacle challenge following the next after allowing the squirrel(s?) to figure out how to negotiate first one, then the other. That's pretty darn cool.

9. Oh, man - count down to being reported

5-4-3-2-1

Cruel, but - ashamed to say - rather funny at the same time. Like laughing at a person slipping on a banana peel.

15. Is our squirrels learning?

I had a older neighbor who has elaborate ways to catch squirrels in garbage cans. He's mark their tails and drive them 30 miles away to a hospital.

18. You can try but you will never outsmart a squirrel

Iíve seen a squirrel sneak up to person from behind who was sitting on a step eating their sandwich, reach over the personís shoulder and snatch the sandwich away.

19. 😂 Makes me miss my pet squirrel!! And his friends.

After almost 2yrs of making friends, especially with one little genius dude, a damn hawk discovered my back deck buffet.

Sorry but I liked my friendly little rodents better than that hawk.
