An Arizona woman accused of sending a man she met on a dating app some 65,000 texts that included threats on his life says in a jailhouse interview that she has some regrets.
Jacqueline Claire Ades, of Phoenix, told KPHO that she believed she'd found her ideal match before allegedly threatening to kill him and wear his body parts and bathe in his blood.
Ades, 31, is also accused of breaking into the man's home and showing up at his workplace, claiming to be his wife.
"I felt like I met my soul mate and everything was just the way it was and I thought we would just do what everybody else did and wed just like get married and everything would be fine," she said.
Ades was arrested Tuesday and charged with threatening, stalking, harassment and failure to appear.
She has not gone into detail about the content of the text messages, but says she regrets the volume of them.
"When youre finding love, not everything is perfect," she said. "This was a journey and I want to apologize because nobody could never be more sorry."
Now that she's in jail, however, Ades said she will leave the man alone "if he wants me to."

(4,407 posts)I mean, I feel worse for the man she stalked, but clearly this woman is suffering from serious mental health issues. She needs treatment, jail is just warehousing a sick person.
