Black Sabbath's "Never Say Die" - not a bad album

In fact, it's one of my three fave BS albums

Sabotage, Paranoid and Never Say Die.

This one starts off with a typical late-70's Sabbath song, the title song.

Then it starts going off in other directions. 'Air Dance' apes Jazz, 'Johnny Blade' apes techno, and 'Breakout,' an insturmental number, apes Jazz again, but this time a more Miles/Mingus angry flavor. Bill Ward sings on the next song, 'Swinging the Chain.'

If you want Sabbath exploring, this is your album.

1. I love the title track!

I play it whenever I feel like giving up. After listening, I am ready to take on the world!

2. It kicks some serious ass

For a band in it's death throws, it does th job nicely.
