So I'm having dinner at a friend's house right now...

...and I'm on my way to wash my hands for dinner when I hear my friend ask her 9 y/o son who is playing around with her laptop, "Why does your browser thingy say 'sexy momma'?".

When my man's son comes to visit, he spends more time on his phone than w/ us. It gets even worse when he brings his autistic daughter who is often misbehaved and he's not keeping an eye on her. She goes into rooms where she's not allowed, torments the dogs, and never sits still long enough to eat her meal.

I fully understand it can be difficult to handle a child w/ autism, but he shouldn't leave that job to us.

And I get it now. I didn't have my phone out at all until this happened and I posted this while in the BR. I'm with you, though. It IS rude, imo.
