3. I took my little dog to Nice, France for Carnival in 2005

and it showed 5 times in a month (this was rare for that area) and she loved to pick the snow and chase balls in it. We are from San Diego so this was new to her. The Carnival theme that year was Climate Change.

4. I used to have a Schipperke....

that would run as fast as she could with her nose about 2-3 inches under the snow. It was a sight to behold. The first dog-powered snow plow. What a dog she was. I miss the old girl.

14. My family had a German Shepard/Lab mix.....

Who did the same thing. He loved when it snowed. His favorite thing was chasing snowballs. He's been gone a long time, but I still miss him.

15. They're a great breed.

Loyal, good with kids, and a great temperament. My old girl died in 2003, and I still miss her. Best dog I've ever had.

5. I can't believe the owner forces that poor dog to do that.

He or she is a monster!

6. By the look of that snow, he's probably done that once every 10 minutes for the last 8 hours

And it never gets old

7. My Basset loved it when I lived in Michigan some years ago

I had to watch the door very carefully after a fresh snow, or the little rascal would make a run for it - and make himself very hard to catch afterward.

Thank you for this. Brought back memories.
