Name a song with "Blues" in the title

Summertime Blues -- Eddie Cochran

I'm gonna raise a fuss, I'm gonna raise a holler
About a-workin' all summer just to try to earn a dollar
Every time I call my baby, try to get a date
My boss say "No dice, son, you gotta' work late"
Some times I wonder what I'm a-gonna' do
Cause there ain't no cure for the Summertime Blues

11. Arthel Lane "Doc" Watson won seven Grammy Awards
Mon Feb 19, 2018, 06:10 PM
Feb 2018

He performed with his son guitarist Merle Watson, for over 15 years until Merle's death in 1985 in an accident on the family farm.

He got the nickname "Doc" during a live radio broadcast when the announcer remarked that his given name Arthel was odd and that he needed an easy nickname.
A fan in the crowd shouted "Call him Doc' presumably in reference to the literary character Sherlock Holmes's sidekick, Doctor Watson.
The name stuck!

He lived to the ripe old age of 89.

Album: Wish I Was in Heaven Sitting Down (2000)

R. L. Burnside (November 23, 1926 -- September 1, 2005), born Robert Lee Burnside, was an American blues singer, songwriter, and guitarist who lived much of his life in and around Holly Springs, Mississippi. He played music for much of his life, but did not receive much attention until the early 1990s. In the latter half of the 1990s, Burnside repeatedly recorded with Jon Spencer, garnering crossover appeal and introducing his music to a new fanbase within the underground garage rock scene.

Johnny's in the basement
Mixing up the medicine
I'm on the pavement
Thinking about the government
The man in the trench coat
Badge out, laid off
Says he's got a bad cough
Wants to get it paid off
Look out kid
It's somethin' you did
God knows when
But you're doing it again
You better duck down the alley way
Lookin' for a new friend
A man in the coonskin cap, in the pig pen
Wants eleven dollar bills, you only got ten

contains the lyrics:

"I like to sleep late in the morning
I don't like to wear no shoes
I make love to the women
While I'm with 'em
Get drunk on a bottle of booze"

I've heard it a few times on a local radio station & I write down the title every time I hear it, so I won't forget it.
(It's on my Wish List)
It's on a Dr. Demento album too ("Dr Demento's 20th Anniversary Album" I think)

The amenities of life have been chasing my soul,
And my mind is transcendental, and I'm losing all control
And I'm sinking in the quagmire of illusions and Thoreau,
I cry out "My name is T-Bone," as a hound dog digs a hole

If you haven't already seen the Denzel Washington movie "Man on Fire"..you should.

Not only a great movie, but Linda's "Blue Bayou" is played throughout the film.

Rick Abao did a credible version, too, but although he was from New Orleans, too, no one outside of Germany ever heard of him. He passed way too soon.
