but I have no choice I guess. Ridiculous fees and pages of unwanted mailing lists I have to actively deny just to get out of the ordering process.
BUT I GOT MY FOO FIGHTER TICKETS!
They fight foo so I don't have to.

(21,646 posts)It's been a while since I used them - I go to a lot of shows but most are all in smaller venues that don't use TM/LN. But I thought I'd never get out of all the FREE SUPER SPECIAL OFFERS JUST FOR YOU THAT SURELY YOU WANT ALTHOUGH THEY ALL SUCK. Bad enough the best seats available were at the very back of the amphitheater even though today was just the first day of fan club pre-sales and they were 90 bucks each (could have gotten Lawn seats for 35 or way back and way over to the side with obstructed views for 75) but the added fees were like 20 bucks a ticket and decent parking would have been EIGHTY dollars. Eff that mess too. We'll be some walking mofos.
You'd think with all the advertising they are doing with all those special offers they wouldn't need to charge such high user fees. I made sure to let them know in their after-purchase survey what I thought about all that too. I'll probably get spit on my tickets.

(12,132 posts)or did they only do lawn? I did lawn for Rush at this place and got there early and brought lawn chairs and it was pretty nice. Actually more comfortable than the seats under the roof lol. I'm more worried about rain though since it seems to be raining all the time here now - especially down in Tampa.

(12,132 posts)I think it's been like 7 or 8 years since I've seen them. I wanted to see Dave's other projects but they never came around - Them Crooked Vultures and a Probot tour would have been immense.
In the pre-sale for Tampa from the time it took me to load the page and get a pair half-way back, call my wife to see if we needed 2 or 3 (daughter thought about going) to actually placing the order, we lost those half-way back seats and got stuck nearly to the back of the covered area. Tix were going fast.
but anywhere in the place is good - Dave and company never disappoint.
