Prairie Dog villages and it's cute to watch the little varmints pop up and down in their holes.

But

There were signs warning people to stay away from the animals because Bubonic Plague has been found in the animals. And of course, three or four people were wandering through the "village" with cameras in hand.

I once encountered a mountain goat on my way down a trail from a mountain in New Mexico. My path took me within five feet of him. He could easily have sent me the rest of the way down the mountain, but he was pretty chill, since I was just trying to walk by him and wasn't threatening him. He did turn and walk away after I got past him. That was closer than I would ever want to get to one again--certainly would not take the kind of chance the idiot in the video did.
