(5,610 posts)and many, many others that I know in TN. Yet they voted for rmoney and every other gop'er they could...actually most of our underprivileged people are truly uninformed non-voting citizens. It is infuriating..

(5,610 posts)You are absolutely correct about what Americans want and desperately need...universal health care, just like all other 1st world nations. You are more abrasive than most Democrats, I think that currently is the only way you can be heard over the din of the gop and their MSM cheerleaders. I am glad that you fight fire with fire. The gop think that they are the only ones who can spout their views (corporate scripts) yet you prove that hollering what the people demand will get you heard and possibly people can triumph over corporations....corporations are NOT people...
GO ALAN !

(8,200 posts)He is representative of the horrible state of the Fourth Estate. If they actually presented an unbiased informative reporting, Romney would not have gotten 30% of the vote. They have totally neglected to hold him accountable for the numerous lies that he told throughout the campaign. They seized on the first debate in which Romney totally reversed himself on several issues and declared with glee that he had won the debate. I hope that they all go broke.

(1,648 posts)Alan Grayson needed a 2x4 against the RW blocking heads when he made this famous DIE speech with charts on the floor of the House. Now, hopefully he's gotten their attention and he and the rest of Patriots can start solving some enormous problems in a way that is fair and that we can all live with...Welcome back, Alan!

(13,225 posts)the audience at one of the Republican debates CHEERED and APPLAUDED when Ron Paul was asked if a sick man without insurance should be left to die? Blitzer was the debate moderator. He owes Grayson an apology because the Republican plan is indeed for the uninsured to die.

(126 posts)The stuff that Grayson said was pretty run of the mill in Westminster parliamentary systems.
I find it pretty funny as well that despite the Republican official saying that they would work with the Democrats, they amended the bill nearly 40 (?) times and the GOP still voted against it.
