3. It also hurts when some people falsely call Democrats things like "COASTAL ELITES"...
It also hurts when some people falsely call Democrats things like "COASTAL ELITES". Other lies that I've often heard from disloyal politicians
It certainly doesn't help to motivate Democrats to come out and vote when they hear nothing but negativity and smears coming from certain individuals and "activists". I think if we can get our "allies" to stop comparing Biden to a BOWL OF SHIT; -- and to stop saying that Democrats are "the party of the one-percent"; -- and to stop saying that Democrats are "corrupt"; -- and to stop saying that Democrats are "ideologically bankrupt"; -- and to stop saying that Democrats are "no different than Republicans"; -- and to stop saying that Democrats are "feeble"; -- and to stop saying that Democrats are "war-hawks"; -- and to stop saying that Democrats "don't care about the middle class"; -- and to stop saying that Democrats "don't care about climate change"; -- and to stop creating "third parties" that siphon-off votes and sabotage elections; -- and to stop encouraging voters to abandon Democrats by voting third-party; -- and to stop making excuses for those voters who DO vote third-party; etc-etc-etc... well... that would be a good start in getting MORE voters to support Democrats. All I'm trying to say is that type of nonsense needs to stop, and when people call-out those lies and refute that type of negativity they shouldn't be harassed for doing so either. The lies and smears and attacks only serve to create an atmosphere of negativity: Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections. |

5. And those who engaged in that type of vengeful attacks on Democrats were completely successful...
... and it wasn't just Sarandon. Others with more clout got in on the action too. They got their "revenge" and EVERYONE suffers now because of it.

8. ...and Why as well.
It took more than the republicans to bring this mighty country to its knees.
Thanks to Joe Biden, the respectable man he is, for taking up the daunting task of America's salvation in 2020. There is hope. |

10. Yes. In both action and inaction. Not just what was said, but what wasn't said.
Those who sought (and continue to seek) to harm the Democratic party will be remembered for all the things they did NOT do and did NOT say as well. And, I'll just leave it at that, for obvious reasons. Everyone knows the truth that cannot be hidden (although many try to hide and ignore the truth, ultimately, they are not successful). There are many of us on Twitter who will not remain silent and who continue to call out the lies and deception of everyone who follows the cult-like "burn-it-down" and other various "third-party" philosophies.

"Just one Republican — retiring Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) — joined every Democrat in voting for the "Protecting Medicare & American Farmers from Sequester Cuts Act," a bipartisan approach to handling two looming fiscal crises at the same time."

We have Dems who are probably more conservative than he, so why not?
He’s a man of principle, so of course he doesn’t belong in the Republican Party. He belongs with us, even if he someimes would vote against our policies. |

22. Not sure about him, but if he &, Liz Cheney intend to reclaim their Party, they'd be the 2 to do it
Interesting that even RW toady, Crenshaw has moved to condemn the Repub extremists.
Maybe a few Repubs have reached a point of absolute exhaustion with the Extremist Horseshoe Tea Partyists bullshit of chaos. We'll see. |

25. The problem is that the GOP can afford to vote against the interest of their voters: Democrats ...
"... overwhelming votes keep them from having to vote for it, and they get to throw raw meat to their anti-tax Libertarian voters.
They don't have to explain cuts to the older voters. And they can say to the RW, "we were stymied by librul Democrats." |

26. It's sad when a political party
Has a bunch of automaton type 'nay' voters, rather than individuals who are free to put in a conscience vote after considering the facts.
Waste of oxygen, your name is the 'R' party! Who tells them to vote as a block, and why are none saying 'Wait on! Let me think about it!' Or is it a reflex - the Dems want this so we are against it - no, don't bother me with the details, I'm voting Nay! This is not a healthy, functional two party system! |
