(9,895 posts)I loathe this state. If it were not for my position in an industry I love with a French-owned multinational, I would have left this shit hole state over a decade ago. The St. Louis metro, parts of KC metro and Columbia are oases in the midst of an insane amount of cultural abyss, intellectual rot and historical indifference to outright championing of racism.
As soon as I am able to financially leave my position, 30 minutes later I am selling my house and within as few days as possible I am leaving this sewer and it does not matter to where, it will be an improvement...even West Kansas or Iowa.
