Fealty to the boy crime boss is apparently the magic ritual.

This "magic" is all pre-indictment playground stuff. When the DOJ no longer can avoid the inevitable logic, Trumpy-Boy will be appearing in Court and it won't make any difference what his worshippers do or say. But it's also guaranteed that Trumpian hordes will show up at any Court appearance when Trump is the defendant and he MUST show up in person. So the DOJ must draw up crisis plans for that date in the future. They will have to summon the NG for protection. There could be clashes and bloodshed, all while Trumpy-Boy whines to the press that he's being railroaded. The chaos will be front and center. And chaos will, of course, be the means to the message.
