Dog tracks down hospitalized owner more than 2 miles away to pay visit

A heartbroken dog so distraught over his owner's abrupt hospitalization was able to track him down almost two miles away.

Zander, a 7-year-old husky, was able to track down his owner John Dolan, who had checked into New York's Good Samaritan Medical Center for a skin condition, according to Fox News. The dog traveled two miles, under a busy parkway, by a stream and across a four-lane road, to find Dolan.

Zander cried and sulked for days when his owner, who rescued the dog five years ago and saved him from starvation, went into the hospital, Dolan's wife, Priscilla, told Fox News.

One day, while Dolan lay in his hospital bed, an employee came to him and said the dog was outside the building. “It’s not nonsense that he was at the hospital,” Dolan told ABC News. “He was moping around for the days I was already at the hospital, sitting in my seat and rolled up and depressed. My wife said he had water in his eyes and looked like he was really sad.”

They have a compassion to love, bond and will move mountains to remain near their masters side. They have all the emotional values humans should have. They do not care what you look like, how wealthy you are or what you live in. Be kind and loyal to them and they will return that kindness ten fold. You can tell this beautiful husky never ended up on the roof of his masters car!

who's been dead 25+ years now, once trekked about 35 miles
from a new home I was building back to where I was living at the time.
He wasn't around when I left one Saturday evening and wasn't around
the next day when I returned to the building site. A few hours after I got
home Sunday night he was scratching at the door. He'd crossed 2 major
highways and a mountain range. He was limping and had
3 bloody paws but he knew where he belonged. Poor boy slept for days....
