Pelosi: Covid Legislation Is First Step, More Needs To Be Done - MSNBC

I give Nancy Pelosi a whole lot of credit, but you're right, the Republicans must have a motive Rhiannon12866 Dec 2020 #3

I wonder what the incentive was for Repukes, i.e., how much they will be able to steal.

Ty for sharing, Rhiannon.

My guess is that it's a big compromise, that the Democrats see this as just a beginning. *sigh*

Definitely something far more substantial than the 3 martini lunch write off.

I'm all in favor of compromise and finding common ground. That's how we make progress when our mutual interests are met somewhere in the middle.

We should all trust Nancy Pelosi and our Democratic party leadership to make the right decisions. I know that I do.

It is repukes that are untrustworthy, as evidenced by their unethical ehavior related to the 1st stimulus funding bill.

The Democrats won't get a single thing past Turtle unless they can get to 50 Senators.

And stopped backing a loser. He has spoken up lately, so he's the only possibility I could think of until we hopefully manage to change the majority in a couple of weeks. *fingers crossed*

And we could stop holding our collective breath! Looking at those races realistically, I can't imagine anyone voting for the Republicans since they have completely gone off the rails, but then I couldn't imagine anyone at all voting for Donald Trump! I'm counting on Stacey Abrams to turn out the vote! She is positively amazing!
