Related: About this forumWhen the Trump prophecies failed
After Trump loses the election, evangelicals go nuts! Pastors and prophets incorrectly prophesied Trump would win the election and get a second term. When the Trump prophecies failed, the evangelicals (some of whom sit on Trump's evangelical advisory committee, like Paula White and Kenneth Copeland) had an absolute ballistic meltdown going into denial. When prophecy fails, evangelicals go ballistic! Here is a compilation of some of the best evangelical freak-outs. Enjoy!

(2,690 posts)The "Prophets" are selling snake oil, but some of the folks here have already drunk way too much of it. The ignorance thermometer has exploded inside their souls -- just pop, pop, pop.
I hear the sound of it popping! I hear the sound of it popping! I hear the sound of it popping! I hear the sound of popping!
Just like the seam on the butt of Paula White's tight leather pants.
Some of these folks -- Michele Bachman is still alive? -- are upset because they honestly and stupidly actually believe Trump, the pussy-grabbing, philandering pedophile, is God's "chosen one."
Others, like Tight-pants Paula, are miffed that they will lose their political connection with the throne of government -- but the money will continue rolling in for them from the suckers and losers in their "flock" -- not for nothing these folks are referred to as sheep -- who give much of their scant money to people who, like Paula, claim that God has told them how to get to heaven. So these "prophets" will always have more than enough money to keep plastic surgeons and private-jet pilots on speed dial.

Yes, permanently banned. Someone there at the Twit factory is even more gullible than I thought possible.

(6,265 posts)Christianity is a joke to a lot of people. In this country, the so-called pastors ride around in the Lear jets and their Gulfstream jets, have palatial palaces to live in, 20,000 seat mega-churches, and feel Jesus wants them to have this when millions in this country go to bed hungry every night. They put true faith to the test for any person who understands Jesus and what the church should be about.
