... as a liberal "hippie" island in a sea of right-wingers. Antioch College was a big part of it, and several professors from nearby Wright State live there too.
His commentary about the nearby farmers doesn't surprise me at all. Sadly, Yellow Springs is more costly than I prefer or I'd move there. It's not very far from me. Edit: There's some beautiful nature preserves in that area too, with minerals in the water that give that village its name. 
Edit2: And it was the first place in all of Ohio that required masks months ago. (I think I'm trying to convince myself to finally move there. Lol.) |

That's been my experience during my past visits.
Either that, or they can tell that I'm "one of them" right away? Maybe it would be different if I looked and acted like a redneck, riding into town on a loud Harley?
