Hope you filed a police report. It is a damn shame that people cannot simply follow the rules and act with civility.

honestly though, it seems the anger has been building in people for a while and the pandemic simply pulled out a stopper and released some steam.

And I assure you that the undercurrent of anger started long ago, best estimate I would give would be the 1980s. People have been getting angrier and angrier since then. Most did not know why in particular, but they were most definitely getting worse.

My theory is the “benefit” of Ronald Reagan’s trickle down economics that screwed over working folks doing so at a very slow pace which many did not really notice. They knew they were not doing as well, but couldn’t figure out who to blame, as the republicans were and are very good at divide and conquer.

It will take a few days before they'll assign someone to investigate, but it's not likely he'll ever be arrested. We have a class of semi-homeless drug users that are always around in this area of Las Vegas, moving around the city as they're run off from one location to the next. He'll be reported if he ever returns to the store, but short of that, nothing will happen. Truth is the store is a sort of step-child to a corporate parent in a lousy neighborhood and the store doesn't make enough money to warrant security for the place. Police really can't do much to help. It kind of sucks spending my time defending the property rights of an oil company.

I thought I would be right back. That was before the pandemic closed the borders and stopped flights.
My favorite song to play on my guitar. Tristeza. My guitar! 5000 miles away.
