I'm realizing how my pets are such a true comfort to me, especially during this time. As I watched one of my cats, Freya, poked my forearm asking me to pet her.

How animals' love softens of our hearts is a needed break from the hardheartedness we have received from our opponents in the last 12 years.

Children, especially, need that experience regularly so that they develop empathy, a care ethic, and keep their hope.

14. I will keep trying.

He is 6'1 (a bit overweight) and this little Yorkie is barely 2 pounds (my guess). They are drawn to each other and Miss Daisy is so trusting.
