Every cop should be forced to pay 10-15% of each check into a fund that pays their pensions, but also pays any settlements that their victims win.

Let's say a cop is making $100,000/yr. He/she pays $15,000/yr for their retirement. There are 100 cops in this police union. That calculates to 15,000,000/yr towards their retirement/pensions.

Now, let's assume their "one bad apple" puts a knee for almost 9 minutes of someone "accused" of passing a counterfeit $20 bill. That person dies because of that "bad apple".

OK. Now the court decides (I know this is a fantasy) that the victims family is entitled to $15,000,000.

DON'T MAKE THE TAXPAYERS PAY!
Make the police union pay. That way every single cop who should have stood up and didn't gets fined too. They lose retirement benefits & pension funds.

When they see what this is costing them, they might finally find the courage to stop the police brutality.

You say we can't make the police unions fund the "cops" retirement, why not. That's exactly what the repugs insisted the USPS did.

Who do I trust more, a cop or a postal employee, I'll take the mail/person EVERY time.

I'm sick & tired of taxpayers paying for the STUPIDITY of racist asshole cops who KNOW they are immune from prosecution.
