I've gotten back to watching more news just lately and there have been so many terrific reports on such newsworthy issues - with equally great guests - that it's hard to decide which ones to share.

The drop box I use is located right at the public bus terminal; you can drive up and toss your ballot in without even leaving your car. Don't need a stamp!

Ballots by mail leave a paper trail, and it makes voting by seniors and shut-ins so much easier, and in some cases, even possible. It truly is an improvement and greatly increases voter participation.

There is so much to fix in our country right now. Biden's VP choice will be critical, because this VP will not and cannot be just a "placeholder." She will be assigned some big projects, and getting the US Mail back on track may be one of them. Happily, there are so many terrific woman candidates out there, Biden has an abundance of talent to use in his administration.

4. Here in New York, Governor Cuomo made sure that all residents got primary absentee applications

We need to follow Colorado's lead for the GE! I have family in Colorado and I know how my cousin is voting, she had Cory Gardner for her Rep and she didn't like him one bit then!

5. Gardner occasionally comes up for air at election time

and then disappears again into the Witness Protection Program. He is awful and has done nothing for Colorado. Time for a second Democratic senator! Hickenlooper would certainly be an improvement.


P.S. - Love the Gov (Cuomo) and my husband and I watched as many of his morning TV reports on the Covid-19 crisis as possible. Love how he loves New York! Love how he loves his family.

6. Knowing how my cousin felt about him, I was baffled that he won as senator

But I'm counting on a blue wave in November that sends his minions down the drain along with Trump. We're so very lucky to have the leadership of Governor Cuomo, he managed to turn around the pandemic that started in New York City, if only this country had national leadership that followed his policies. It boggles the mind that there are those who still follow Trump with devastating results.

I'm also hoping that the blue wave will sweep over my congressional district. We're currently stuck with Elise Stefanik, originally a protegee of Paul Ryan who has shifted her allegiance to Trump.

7. My state has had vote by mail since the 1990's. I love it, and you can track your ballot.

You can also sign up for email which will alert you when your ballot has been mailed to you, and where it is in the tracking process after you turn it in. We also get reminders and information about what the last day is that you can mail it and have it arrive in time for the deadline to be counted. We can also drop our ballots in a secure spot at our public libraries if we miss the mail-in deadline. Or, it can be dropped off at a secure curbside drop box in front of the county election office. It is completely safe, and I firmly believe that it increases voter turnout. As usual, Agolf Twitler and his enablers are lying outright about voter fraud. May all Repukes be soundly defeated in November!
