3. I usually post the political/funny segments, but this was a pretty historic show

And I figured we sure could use the laughs right now!

4. Best Weekend Update I've Seen in Months

Seriously! I don't know, maybe the Zoom crowd had something to do with it. But there were also more genuinely funny jokes than average!

5. To me, that's often the best/funniest part of the show, depending on the Cold Open

And I agree that this was a really good one, it focused on the two of them with no "guests" to interrupt - except for Alec Baldwin's phone call and he was terrific as usual. Welcome to DU!

6. I find the Cold Open can be Hit or Miss

But WU is always funny! The only thing in this edition I didn't like was the Kylie Jenner story. She's "self-made"??? Give. Me. A. Break.

PS: Thanks for the greeting!

7. You're right, though I do enjoy those with Alec Baldwin. It was good to hear him last night...

And I agree that the Jenner story was dumb, but it was their initial home-based outing. I could have done without the distracting laugh track, but Colin and Michael have really become a great team, as good as any they've had on SNL. I also appreciated the lack of silly "guests," they really don't need them.
