1. While this is a few months old, it is nevertheless perfectly relevant today imo. And

I agree with Prof Lichtman. Impeachment is the one thing that will defeat tRump in 2016.

Impeachment is not simply right, but politically right as Lichtman says. Not impeaching is the road to another tRump victory.

I would be happy for Republicans in the Senate (and House) to vote no. I want my grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and their children to have an official record of what Republicans have become.

I want law enforcement workers to have to deal with not having recognized an obvious con man.

I want evangelicals to have to confront the fact that they have been supporting the sort of evil satanic individual Trump is.

I want old white guys to have to deal with the fact that their supposed wisdom needs some education.

I want his multitudes of victims to get some relief by at least hearing the documented charges formally presented and well publicized.
