4. I think you're right

Just jumbling together meaningful-sounds words with the appropriately meaningless intonation, setting, gestures, etc. Leaves a lot of room for the viewer to interpret it the way they want.

My friends and I used to play a game where we would write out the spoken words of new commercials that the rest of hadn't seen yet and it's kind of crazy how, without the visuals and audio, those scripts sometimes don't make any sense at all but the whole package sure can manipulate people's thoughts.
