Will Any 2020 Candidates Take on Military Industrial Complex?

Friend of the show, Morris calls guest Host Jefferson Smith of XRay FM asking if military spending can be cut, if money used by the pentagon could be used instead to fix America's homeless problem

6. Those F35s are strategical necessary air crafts...

... as in the production of them are strategical spread out, to places where some politician find is necessary to get himself some votes - by misusing the defense budget as social aid, since it is the only budget that can easily be misused that way.

3. They might once elected, but a lot of people are employed in MIC.

Personally, Id like to see military budget cut almost in half, but wed have to be prepared for economic consequences. Wed also have to cut back on bullying the world.

5. Agree, but don't think those jobs will pay anywhere near what line-worker in a weapons factory makes

Like I said, I think the budget ought to be slashed. But the impact will be severe, and the white wing xenophobes won't like cutting the MIC.
