6. Just what we thought would happen.

Well, they were even bigger dicks than we ever imagined, but we knew the GOP tax give-away to the wealthy wasn't going to help middle class and poor people at all! We said they'd just put the money back in their pockets. and they did. In spades. The first order of business with a REAL Democratic President will be to repeal this piece of shit tax cut for the wealthy and enact a hefty tax increase for these same people so they're finally paying their fair share. It's time for the wealthy in this country (most of it is inherited wealth) to start suffering a little as well. We all have to make sacrifices for the good of our country, right?

7. Actually the tax scam

ended up being even worse than I'd imagined. I had no idea so many middle class people would end up owing far more in taxes than before. Some of the stories are just awful where people who normally get a tax refund, ended up having to PAY the IRS.

9. Curious if they used their tax scam windfall to do a stock buy-back instead.

That's what is in the interests of shareholders and executives. And it's what keeps them from fully investing in the health of the company, i.e., its workers and infrastructure.

12. I can confirm this is true

My brother has one of those AT&T "hard hat" jobs, has worked for them for at least 5 years, and lo and behold his entire team is going through a round of job cuts as we speak. He just got the word that his job is safe...for now. Some of his coworkers were not so lucky.
