This is not surprising since this is what they have been doing throughout the time Donald Trump has been in the White House. They have flip flopped on just about every issue on which they used to criticize President Obama. Mitch McConnell, from the very beginning, has been angry at Democrats for doing far less than he and the Republicans did when President Obama was in office.

Also, this has been happening for years. This is the same cycle we went through during the Clinton and Bush years. During the Clinton years, Republicans complained about debt and the deficit. However, once George W. Bush made it to the White House they changed their tune. At that point, like now, debt and deficits did not matter. That changed once President Obama was elected. At that point, Republicans, once again, complained about debt and deficits.
