1. Confession -- I did not watch the video

So I am assuming this happened a long time ago...Although I am posting here, I am trying to preserve my nerves by not reading, watching and being away from politics today, but this one caught my eye, at least the title.

If republicans have been hard at work suppressing votes, cheating in elections, lying, etc., and many people here may not like the question...

Why is it that democrats are not doing more to prevent the cheating, disenfranchising, lying, etc.? Why is it that democrats are not making sure the voting machines are properly guarded against hacking? Why is it that I don't see democrats fighting hard to expose republican lies? etc. etc.

I have been asking myself these questions for years, and I still don't have answers.

Why is it that even after plenty of proof that cheating and collusion was committed in 2016 that democrats do not file lawsuits...in my view, Hillary should be in power at this time, she was the rightful winner of a stolen election...what is going on? Its like getting kicked on the knee every day and not doing anything about it, it comes a time when you won't be able to walk.

2. Its not just up to the Democrats

anyone, no matter what party you follow, should be concerned when Democracy is at stake. Our party has done all they can to fight this, much of what they are doing goes unreported because of the corporate news bias. Its an uphill battle but the question shouldn't be what they are doing, it should be what I am doing to change this.

5. It is unreported because the democrats don't go out and say what they are doing to prevent it

Its not like ALL the media does not support the Democratic party, you have many at MSNBC who would be very glad to let us know what the Democratic party is doing to prevent the cheating, but by the time we hear about it, they are just fighting something that is ongoing, they are reacting.

The problem I have with all this is that, knowing the republicans will cheat, you can not sit and wait for the cheating to begin, you have to be proactive, you have to anticipate and I don't see the Democrats doing that.

It is very upsetting, sad, that this cartoonish character is going around spewing hate, aided by crooks passing laws, destroying good laws, enriching himself by shitting on emolument clause, etc. etc.

He is shitting on the country, so is Kemp, Ryan, the guy from Kansas, and what are Democrats doing? I don't see a good fight. If it were the other way around you would hear repubs scream their lungs out, in unison, every day, on every network, on every radio station. When it comes to screaming their lungs out, repubs don't discriminate where they do it, be a network with left tendencies, or anything, if they have to shout in a communist held radio, or TV station they would do it.

4. Democracies will always struggle under capitalism

the two should never go together, are always fighting against each other. Big money doesn't want your say, want a Democracy, all they want is more power to create more money. So yes, whatever party supports big money over Democracy is anti-Democracy and repugs have been that throughout their existence with a few exceptions during the Teddy Roosevelt and Eisenhower administrations.

6. I believe voter surpression was a big part of Nixon's victory in

1968..Nixon had Kissinger tell the North Vietnamese to hold off on any peace agreement because he could give them a better deal. Not voter suppression but shows how fucking crooked he was. Costing thousand's of lives..

Now if he was that desperate for a win then he sure as hell hid votes, canceled votes and even stole them for the dumpster.

Then in 80..? in 88..and definitely in 2000 with entrance of Karl Rove

They tried to steal it in 2008..and even 2012 because they were shocked when Ohio was called for Obama.

8. talk radio ramped it up was used to sell the pretext for a lot of the r-con suppression legislation

that is one of the biggest tragedies of ignoring talk radio. the immigration issue was primarily blown up to sell voter ID and other suppression. that the political analysts doesn't register this is ridiculous. for nearly 20 years they've been ramping up the voter fraud fraud and dems have had no response.

this modern manifestation got serious in 2000 when rove bush had to cover for their election thievery. now we're here.
