It took me a long time to warm to Trevor Noah. For his first year, I actually thought he was a poor choice as Jon Stewart's replacement. Lately, however, I think he's started to hit his stride--and I absolutely love this story. He's risen to a whole new level of respect in my eyes.

He's brought a new level of intelligence, worldliness, even optimism to the audience in these mean times. This clip really encapsulates Noah's unique gifts. I find him the most curious, responsive, informed interviewer of all the ts hosts too.
