What a wonderful way to wrap up this 4th of July. Only nine years ago, give or take. Seems like a hundred.

especially the spirit and all the people. That energy and power is still here and Americans are determined to preserve our democracy and ideals. Recent events and challenges can bring us down so low, but somehow we have to remain strong, all I know.

Jan. 2009 was a beautiful, positive time and we can do it again. Never give up, ever! Like Maxine, Dr. King, Churchill and so many other brave fighters have urged.
That hopeful winter day nine years ago, I was there to take it all in with the masses, what an historic occasion. An evening ball at the Smithsonian where I'd worked was magical. The entire nation and capital was rocking and so alive.

And we will be again! Take Care & Keep the Faith.
