3. I might be petty and small but I hope these cuts hit the angry rural white Trump voters in:

WV, OH, IN, PA, WI, MI, WV, KY, TN, AL, TX, AR, MS, NC, SC, LA, WY, and so on.

Good luck to the unemployed coal miner in WV w/black lung .... @ least the
black guy is gone from the White House and "Crooked Hillary" isn't there now.

5. It will and they'll be convinced it's the Democrats' fault and they'll believe it because

they need to. Willfully ignorant, proudly.

13. They'll believe it's the Democrats fault because Fox News and Trump tell them it is.

Nothing else penetrates their bubble.

This is from 2011, but it's just as applicable today:

16. Ha, thanks, I hadn't seen that before.

Amazing how its all just gotten worse since 2011.

Why did this fictitious Republican voter believe Obama raised, instead of lowered, taxes? Or ignorant that the debt ceiling was for money already spent? Etc... It was because the Russians and top GOP operatives were ALREADY poisoning the well back then. Add to that the fake news hate radio and Fox News 24/7.

8. Please don't sit idle...

Please help by texting everyone you know.

And hit your congresscritters with objections, even if they're repugnican'ts.

I live in a HUD-assisted facility (Section 8) as do about 100 others in a 7-story facility. All are over 60 (65?) , and probably all are on Medicare, a large number are on Medicaid as well. Many are confined to chairs, and there are a huge number of walkers on-site. Some live on $700 or less a month. There are commodities deliveries by two organizations (UMC and SA) every month, and the lines are long. Many exist only on these, but where will they be forced to "live" if they are no longer subsidized?

Pray if you've the inclination, but please ACT to help squelch this evil plan.

BTW, I never hear a kind word for the usurper in the white house, but I'm of the opinion that excoriating people for their republican votes in Kansas is never effective. But they are well aware of the consequences of their (probable) votes!

Somehow a smilie doesn't seem appropriate this time...

21. I wouldn't be too sure that they are aware of the consequences of their votes

All they listen to is Fox "News," which will not tell them the truth. If and when disaster hits their personal lives, Fox will tell them that somehow Obama, Hillary and "libbruls" are responsible. They will believe it, and reliably vote once again for Republicans who will, if anything, vote to make their situations even worse than they have been made up to now.

To wish that they suffer the consequences of their votes may seem cruel on the surface, but maybe less so when one contemplates that they are also voting for the rest of our population--the ones who saw through the Republicans' scam from the beginning--to suffer equally. That is something I find to be the bigger injustice. If the only way for them to rethink their voting habits is for them to reap what they have sown, I say, so be it.

There was a great scene in the movie "Oh, God" where George Burns (God) is in John Denver's station wagon, and Denver's character asks God to prove who he is by making it rain. In an instant, the car is full of rain clouds pouring water into the car. Denver's character yells, asking how come it's still sunny outside, and "God" answers, "you are the one who wanted rain, why should I spoil everyone else's day?"

22. Yes, in general...

But in the community room the TV is often on CNN, but only once in a year have I seen it on Faux Noise. (I changed it to MSNBC immediately, as there was no one else in the room!)

Thanks for the second paragraph, but the consequences of their votes also will descend on me, not just them. And trust me, there are older people who did NOT vote for him. I only wish the ones who did would realize it. We need to cultivate Democratic votes for them in this year's election.

Of course, no one now admits voting for Trump.

12. During an election year, Dems need to ride this donkey to victory

It's pretty clear how much the GOP is screwing people all across the country, even in the rural areas that voted Trump.

Dems are offering something much better and need to make sure the voters know it and never feel confused about this clear difference ever again.

20. Trumpkins believe the poor should be punished for being poor

Their message has made this very clear, trumps actions have indicated this and his budget does it.

I have had trumpkins tell me they think it is a great idea.
