My younger brother was a music producer for a while and really liked the song. I cherish a super Xmas music assortment tape incl. this one he made for us years back.

It wasn't a hit right away but it became one when it was re-released years later in the 60's. Can you imagine any 13 year old you know singing like that? She was amazing!

who produced many chart song hits in the 1960s. The only other popular young girl singer that strong I can think of at the moment is Judy Garland.
