There have been too many videos where you click on them, and it's some weird guy talking for a long time before showing the pic that shows for the intro for the video....posted obviously to get clicks for that guy's Youtube account. I'm not interested in Biff Barker's interpretation of so-and-so's remarks about such-and-such. Just so you know. It's a shame that such tactics have ruined it.

After replacing a few million dollars worth of industrial saw blades, not to mention all the down time, they'll go away.

You can't play fair and nice with some people.....those "people" being Republican owned corporations.

You can't kill these environmental mass murderers with kindness. They'll laugh you out of town and clear cut everything in sight. Sometimes you just have to kick it up a notch, two notches, or more. You have to play their little game on terms they understand, and sometimes that gets a little messy. But they'll certainly know you mean business.

Col. Doug Applegate was a great candidate, a straight speaking progressive w.deep military (combat)cred.; in 2016 he was the perfect Democrat to wage a ground up people's campaign against the assumedly invincible Darrel Issa. From a lead of double digits, Issa ended up squeaking through by only a 1500 vote (less than 1%) win..

Applegate's campaign got enough small donor contribs together to run two ads. Two ads that exposed Issa for who he really is. One ad announced that Issa enlarged his enormous wealth while in Congress. (he's the richest member of Congress) So that was a big OUCH for Issa,

But it was the second...BTW the best ad I've ever seen run by a Democrat ag a Republican incumbent... that just plain shocked many voters in the district: Applegate simply advertised that Issa Voted Against the 911 First Responders.

Issa sued him for defamation in court over both ads. It cost Applegate so much money, (hundreds of thousands, his campaign "cash on hand" for 2018 is still minus bkz of the court costs) but Applegate did not fold against Issa's deep pocketed intimidation.

And Applegate won! The judge declared simply that the ads were true...that Issa HAD increased his wealth while in Congress and Issa DID vote against the 911 Responders Bill.

The judge slapped Issa with an AntiSlapp judgment ,preventing Issa going forward from using SLAPP to silence opposition..

This is one happy story from the 2016 election, and it happens to be a SLAPP victory story for Our Team.
