3. I refused to watch it also maybe Murkowski can explain, why this happened

after all she gave the green light to attack the caribou, seals, polar bears, whales, Arctic Waters with the Arctic Reserves now up for sale to the same companies that killed this bear, and the Department of Interior with Zinke and Cason running that show.

Wasn't she pissed off with Zinke, they must have made amends, and had coffee and donuts, and to add further insult gut health care so that human beings would be like the polar bear.................................

4. This hits too close to home

I had the good fortune to work on Baffin Island for a year and a half. Actually, I worked in every community in the Baffin Region from Sanikiluaq in southern Hudson Bay to Grise Fiord 720 miles north of the Arctic Circle.

Thinking of Baffin Island as just an island is a mistake. It is the fifth largest island in the world with an area about 20% larger than California and a population of only 11,000. I was there many years ago and consider it to be one of the high points of my life. Things like this happened occasionally even in those days but almost always to sick or injured animals. If this disturbs you - and it should - this is expected to be the fate of 30% of the polar bear population. Canadian zoos already have all the polar bears they can accommodate and orphaned juvenile bears are being left to fend for themselves despite almost certain death because there is no more room for them.

It just kind of rips a hole in my soul to see this happening in a place I love so much and not being able to do a damn thing about it.
