1. Yep, the tape is real, unlike drumpf's alternative reality.

3. Trump doesn't seem to understand what it means to be "on tape"

Or that he was also on tape - discussing the fallout from the previous one.

6. He's planting seeds of doubt with his base, and giving cover to moore

Now his base can say, "it really wasn't him on the tape, the media will say anything and if that's true, then it's probably true of moore so we can vote for him."

By firing BB, the network protected trumpft, they got rid of the one person who would remind everyone about the tape. BB was an employee, and trumpft was the golden goose at the time. I really can't imagine BB giving trumpft a stern lecture on how inappropriate his comments were.

trumpft does understand what it means to be on tape, he plays the media really well. He's not stupid and he doesn't have dementia, but he's ok with people thinking that because then they underestimate him.

2. I thought he was surprisingly sincere, and not what I expected.

Thank you for being so diligent, and generous with your time, to post so many good videos of such good late night takes.

4. You're more than welcome - and I agree

I did wonder about this appearance - but he did a good job and the timing was perfect.

And these days the late night comedians have become part of the news...

9. In the past couple of days, I've seen Colbert, Seth Meyers and both Jimmys on the news!

Just now, MSNBC showed part of last night's Billy Bush interview!

10. They helped us get Barack Obama elected. They kind of

dropped it with Clinton. I wish Jon Stewart had stayed until after the election. I guess they learned. I'm not saying the outcome was their fault, one of so many contributing factors. They did not help Hillary to be taken seriously. Dealing with Trump was better for ratings. We live and learn. Not sad to see Matt Lauer go.

11. I felt the same way about both Jon Stewart and David Letterman - they signed off at the worst time!

Coincidentally, I was lucky enough to be in the studio audience for both of them - back in 2008. Letterman was an obvious fan of both Clintons, had them on many times. That said, I think Stephen Colbert has turned out to be a brilliant replacement - he not only keeps up with breaking news, but he gets many of his guests from whatever the country is talking about!

And I completely agree about the Clinton campaign - it was all Trump, all the time. I got to the point that I finally just stopped watching.
