4. Devastation

That is what I feel for these people right now. They packed themselves, their kids, and anything else they could get their hands on and out the door. Everything they left behind is gone now. Those mail trucks will be filling up the mail boxes for one or two weeks. Maybe even three or four before any family member can get home. I really feel for these people.

If you do not mind Packman I would like to kindly ask what the name of the music passage playing during the clip?

Thank you and try and have a nice day.

12. Thanks anyways

The piece fit the situation of loss.
A number of people lost their lives.
All of those people lost their homes.
I really, really hope all of us do not lose our minds dealing with 45.

6. my brother lives in santa rosa

I spoke to him again today - hes got other people from his recovery program staying with him, he/they are safe - this video is just what he described - hundreds of homes gone - whole neighborhoods...gone...he said at first he thought it was some forests on the outskirts but then he saw all this....

its like america is dying from all angles...

7. I am so sorry. It's a beautiful area.

I got to know a little about it since I was responsible for their TV listings back in the '80s. And this is one of the saddest things I've ever seen...

8. Makes me wonder if there might have been less damage had there been stricter zoning laws that

required more spacing for the varies houses rather than the current fad of packing them in tight like sardines in a can.

Don't even recognize the neighborhood.

Lots of family there. Some evacuated. One cousin close to losing her home of 35 years (different neighborhood), her sister also evacuated from her home in Napa Co.

Close to two dozen fatalities.

These fires have hit people of all income brackets. My heart is breaking for the folks in Sonoma and Napa counties.

Just learned a cousin ,not mentioned above, lost her home. Unbelievable. Thank god she's safe.
