7. Lets Give What Little Credit There Is Where Its Due

A number of commentators have pointed out that Sec Defense Mattis studiously avoided making any reference to Trump. He deserves credit for that.

But I have seen no credit or mention of CIA Director Pompeo's clever evasion. If my memory of the video serves me correctly, Pompeo said something like: In the tradition of CIA (directors??) I will make no comment to the press. I recall inthat video some nervous (???) laughter and then the remarks moved on to the express obeisance of others. If I got this right Pompeo deserves some credit.

If I got this wrong I hope (touchy word) some DUer will set me straight.

Leaving Mattis and Pompeo, that cabinet meeting was one of the sickest (and scariest ) things Ive ever seen.
