A 50' section of I85 north just collapsed due the this raging fire under the bridge! This is a major highway through the heart of the city of Atlanta and the east coast and will impact traffic for weeks!!

I know just seconds before the overpass collapsed, someone had said it wasn't safe, so I imagine firefighters weren't under it.

I sincerely hope so.

It looked like when the overpass went down, it might have smothered part of the fire, so it wasn't 100% bad news.
