Let's make this election a sweep! He mentions the "intellectual rot" within the repub party. That's been the case for decades now. They made the decision to embrace what I consider to be borderline fringe, if not outright fringe, elements of our society to expand their base years ago. They are self destructing now because of that poor decision. He nails it and I hope his predictions become reality.

That's freaking amazing. And Schmidt is talking about "internals", which is likely more accurate.

Let's hope for Speaker Pelosi!

GOTV for Democrats!
Now let's get this thing on the hump; we've got some flyin' to do!
(Couldn't resist. Sorry.)

really are:
LA Times/USC Tracking
Rasmussen
Gravis

to name a few.

I do not think there are as many pollsters doing what the Republican leaning pollsters above are doing as severely on the Democratic side.

This helps to keep the money flowing, the media playing along and a few more campaigns afloat, etc.

The common reality setting in seems to be that something catastrophic has to happen for Hillary not to be president and beat the GOP badly. With only 20 days to go, if there was going to be an October surprise, because they're so down, the heavy odds are that we would have already seen it.

Trump is doing a fine job talking himself out of the presidency. All Hillary and her people have to do is be themselves, minimize what folks might take issue with and let Trump finish off the GOP.

Great to hear the House is in play. Hope that comes to pass.

These people are ridiculous. They contradict each other on a daily basis. I will say Steve Schmidt seems to be the most consistent of the bunch. He has been saying Trump is in deep doo doo for weeks now.

I've low expectations for tonight, little change is as good as a win
when you're ahead and running solid

But Trump will swing for the fences, expect outrageousness and buffoonery

I cannot believe that people are still asking "what can Donald Trump do to move up in the polls?" Are you kidding? Donald Trump is a mess of a human being and he has been proving that for over a year in the political arena, and for decades in his personal life, why do people still hold hope when the statement should be "no matter what Donald Trump does tonight, he has already proven that he is unqualified to become president of the USA, he can shine tonight and people should still stay away from him."

It is very frustrating that the talking heads are still coming with a strategy of what Trump should do to change the public's opinion.

Are we that stupid? Unfortunately, the answer seems to be "yes".

including having to forever take the blame and shame for unleashing her into the wild... and she wasn't even the top of the ticket. He knows first hand about the behind-the-scenes turmoil in a campaign when you have one of your candidates "go rogue".

Drumpf is Palin on steroids. He said himself that he was now "unshackled".
