or maybe why I didn't ask for a statewide recount in FL. The SCOTUS said they would have granted that, but not the hand-picked counties Gore asked for. He would have won by over 35,000 votes.

I couldn't care less about his "double takes." The rats are all circling the wagons - all it takes is the slightest fear that "business as usual" might be disrupted and they go into full panic mode: Boxer's "I feared for my life!!" Whatever. The thing that really turns my stomach is Hillary Clinton supporting a bill that makes the "promesa" to reduce the minimum wage to $4.25 in Puerto Rico so that her hedge fund buddies can get some of their predatory loan money back. Perhaps more sickening are the people who extoll Clinton's "progressive" credentials while not caring a crap that she thinks a yearly income of $8,160 is just fine and dandy for the little people. $4.25 an hour is a perfectly reasonable minimum wage thinks the woman who pocketed $21.6 million in two years for speeches to banks, hedge funds, corporations and the like. What a wonderful world. (That Hillary Clinton is fine with screwing over the people of Puerto Rico is pretty rich coming from a candidate who is so proud of her Latino support.)

and read the post by LewisPullerCorp and it almost (and I stress I am only saying "almost&quot makes sense why they might want to look at lowering it in that case.
Mind you I am not sure if its a good idea but then again I am not an economist either.

8. The minimum wage provision was just one part of a broader bill.

PR asked for the temporary reduction in the minimum wage. The bill Was DOA because it allowed for restructuring their debt, and the Republicans hated that.

when I hear incredibly stupid. I do, however, rapidly blink about three times or so. It seems I am doing that whenever I go get a cup of coffee at work (usually turned to Fox). When no one is around, I change the TV to the NASA station.
